Statement of Rabbinic & Halachic Integrity
At Sephardic Kosher Supervision, the unquestionable reliability of our Hechsher rests upon our absolute adherence to Orthodox Jewish law and our unwavering affirmation of Maimonides’ (the Rambam’s) 13 Principles of Faith.
As an agency representing the sacred trust of the Jewish people, we categorically reject and renounce all forms of idolatry, heresy, and foreign worship. We strictly disassociate our organization from any movements, sects, or individuals that operate outside the boundaries of normative Orthodox Judaism. This includes the unequivocal rejection of any belief that the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Jesus of Nazareth (Yeshua, Yeshu, Yoske), or any other historical or contemporary figure is the Messiah. We firmly reject the doctrines of Christianity, Messianic movements, and their various roots, just as we reject the Quran and any claims of prophecy outside the Torah. We continue to faithfully await the true and imminent arrival of the Mashiach, who has not yet come.
By maintaining these uncompromising spiritual boundaries, we unite with Klal Yisrael in preserving the purity of our faith and become active participants in the covenant given to our forefathers—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The yoke of the Torah and strict adherence to Sephardic Halakha govern both the personal lives and professional duties of our Rabbinic board and our global network of Mashgichim. This steadfast commitment is the sole qualifier for any Rabbi or supervisor to represent our agency and issue our trusted certification.
Enforcement of Standards:
The religious integrity of our team is paramount. Any Rabbi, Mashgiach, or representative of Sephardic Kosher Supervision found practicing or secretly harboring a foreign faith, or acting contrary to traditional Orthodox Jewish law, will be immediately and permanently dismissed from our organization. Furthermore, to protect the kosher consumer, global communities and relevant industry authorities will be promptly notified of their wrongdoing and the revocation of their standing.
